Her career spans over 25 years in the travel industry, with highly reputable international hotel companies, an arena where Internet marketing is king. In fact, according to a survey conducted by travel market research firm GfK in September, 2014, 90% of all travel research is conducted online prior to booking.
In this fast-paced, ever-changing world, Yuthas was in a position to sink or swim. She took it upon herself to study and learn every facet of digital marketing and how they interact and engage users to create synergy and, of course, ultimately, revenue for her company. Her background is public relations and this served her well as she develops keyword centric copy that is persuasive, user-friendly and easily followed. Establishing brand and voice for that brand was already engrained in her approach to business and marketing.
In the learning process, the practical side of applying what she learned proved time consuming and illusive. With inspiration from her daughter, Danielle, that is what prompted her to write this book. To provide for others in a similar position, not only general information, but the nuts-and-bolts of putting that information to work.
Maryann Zarlengo Yuthas is a four-generation Denver, Colorado native, hailing from a large extended family. She resides in Denver with her husband, Tony, and their dog, Howie. She loves animals and adopts all of her pets from shelters.
